Welcome, I guess

So I don't really know what to say here since we're all still putting out our feelers for if we're staying here. I also have an Ao3, Pillowfort, Tumblr, DA, FA, even Facebook all under the same username.
What I am hoping to cultivate here different from my previous blogging experiences is to keep things a little more intimate. We'll see if I manage it but especially Tumblr and also Twitter, I just followed anything remotely interesting, I have never been a follow-backer unless I specifically want to be mutuals with someone. It is a strange liminal space, mutual followers, sometimes friends, sometimes acquaintances or just ships passing in the night.
I'm 31 years old and I've weathered many a storm over different platforms, the migrations never end, it just changes who and where and what you're talking.
I don't think that my Tumblr was ever a primary means of communication, it's really not and has never been meant for that. I had a livejournal but I used it as a journal and didn't really catch onto the communities until the end
I was very active on GaiaOnline and DeviantArt between 2005 and 2008, email and chat rooms before that.
I haven't really done any online rp since Gaia, I tried for a bit on Tumblr but it's just not the right format I have heard that this place is good/meant for it, but I'm rusty and don't do ERP. No judgement, I just can't write sexy improvisation. Writing smut takes a lot of thought for me so for most intimate scenes I prefer to segue into a "boot scene" as in the scene goes to bed and then starts again while the characters are "putting on their boots" so to speak.
I don't know that I will RP here, I don't know that anyone would even want to, I'm also busy running a D&D game and countless writing projects. That said I have a never ending cast of characters and limitless settings. I miss the old free form paragraph rp.
